Welcome to Layreen Cases! By accessing or purchasing from our website (layreen.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website.

The following terminology applies throughout these Terms: "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person accessing this website and agreeing to these terms. "We", "Us", "Our", and "Layreen Cases" refers to our business. "Party" or "Parties" refers to both you and us collectively.

1. ABOUT US

Layreen Cases is a small, family-run business based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We design, hand-print, and package all of our phone cases ourselves, made to order, and ship directly to you. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc.

By using this website, you acknowledge that you are purchasing from a small independent business and that you have read and understood these terms.

2. ELIGIBILITY

By using our site and placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You are not prohibited from purchasing our products under applicable law.
• The information you provide to us is accurate and complete.

3. PRODUCTS

All of our phone cases are made to order and hand-printed in our Toronto studio. Because of this:

• Slight variations in print tone or positioning may occur between batches. These are characteristics of our handmade process and are not considered defects.
• Product images on our site are for illustrative purposes. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen calibration and device.
• We reserve the right to discontinue or modify any product at any time without notice.

We offer two primary case types: Tough Case and Tough MagSafe. MagSafe-compatible cases are designed to work with Apple MagSafe accessories but are not manufactured by or affiliated with Apple Inc.

4. PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout based on your region. Prices are subject to change without notice.

• We accept major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Afterpay, among other payment methods shown at checkout.
• Your order is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.
• We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or suspected fraud. If this occurs, you will receive a full refund.
• Taxes may apply depending on your location and are calculated at checkout.
• For buy now, pay later services (such as Afterpay), your agreement with that third-party provider governs those payment terms.

5. ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS

Because all of our cases are made to order and go into production quickly, cancellations and changes are time-sensitive.

• You may request a cancellation or change within 4 hours of placing your order by emailing contact@layreen.com.
• After 4 hours, your case may already be in production and we cannot guarantee a cancellation or modification.
• If your order has already shipped, we are unable to cancel it. Please refer to our Return Policy in that case.
• We reserve the right to cancel orders that appear fraudulent, contain inaccurate information, or violate these Terms.

6. PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING

All orders are printed, inspected, and packaged in our Toronto, Ontario studio.

• Production typically takes 2-3 business days. During busy sale periods, this may extend to 3-5 business days.
• Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number.
• We ship to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and select European countries.
• Shipping timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control are not our responsibility.
• International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by your country. These charges are your responsibility and are not included in our pricing.
• We are not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. If your package is lost, please contact us and we will work with the carrier on your behalf.

7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Layreen Cases accepts returns within 30 days of the fulfillment date, subject to the following conditions:

• Items must be unused and in their original condition.
• To initiate a return, email contact@layreen.com with your order number and reason for return.
• Pre-paid return labels are provided, with a $6.00 handling fee deducted from your refund.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• We do not offer exchanges on any items.
• Refunds are processed within 2-4 business days of receiving your return.

Defective or incorrect items: If you receive a case with a printing defect, incorrect design, or wrong size, please email us at contact@layreen.com with your order number and a clear photo of the issue. We will provide a replacement at no charge.

We do not accept returns for custom cases where you provided the design, unless the item is defective or printed incorrectly.

Digital products are non-refundable. All sales on digital downloads are final.

8. WARRANTY

Layreen Cases stands behind the quality of our cases with the following warranty coverage:

1-Year Standard Warranty

All cases include a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. If your case is damaged or breaks through normal use within 12 months, we will send a free replacement. You are responsible for covering the shipping cost of the replacement.

Lifetime Warranty (Optional Add-On)

An optional lifetime warranty upgrade is available for $5.00 at checkout. With this add-on, your case is covered for as long as you own it. If your case is ever damaged or breaks, we will replace it. You cover the shipping cost for the replacement.

Warranties do not cover loss, theft, intentional damage, or damage caused by misuse, modification, or exposure to chemicals.

9. CUSTOM CASES

We offer custom phone cases where you may upload your own design or artwork.

• By submitting your design, you confirm that you own all rights to the artwork or have permission to use it commercially.
• You grant Layreen Cases a limited, non-exclusive licence to reproduce your submitted design solely for the purpose of printing your custom case order.
• We reserve the right to decline any custom case order that contains offensive, infringing, or inappropriate content at our sole discretion.
• Custom cases are non-refundable unless there is a production defect or error on our part.

10. ARTIST COLLABORATIONS

Layreen Cases periodically collaborates with independent artists. If you are an artist collaborating with us:

• The terms of each collaboration, including compensation, royalties, and design usage, will be outlined in a separate written agreement.
• Artists retain ownership of their original artwork. Layreen Cases is granted a licence to use the artwork solely for the agreed products and promotional purposes.

11. BRAND AMBASSADORS AND AFFILIATE PROGRAM

Layreen Cases runs a brand ambassador program and an affiliate program. Participants agree to:

• Represent Layreen Cases honestly and in accordance with our brand guidelines.
• Not make false claims about our products.
• Disclose their partnership or affiliate relationship in all promotional content, as required by applicable advertising standards (including FTC and ASC guidelines).
• Affiliate commissions and ambassador perks are subject to the separate terms outlined at the time of enrollment and may change at any time.
• We reserve the right to terminate any ambassador or affiliate relationship at our discretion.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LICENCE

All content on layreen.com, including but not limited to designs, artwork, photographs, graphics, logos, text, and the Layreen Cases name and brand identity, is the property of Layreen Cases or its licensed artists and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. All intellectual property rights are reserved.

You may access content from layreen.com for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out in these Terms. You must not:

• Republish, reproduce, duplicate, or copy any material from layreen.com.
• Sell, rent, or sub-license any material from layreen.com.
• Redistribute any content from layreen.com without our express written permission.
• Use our designs on third-party products or reproduce them in any form for commercial purposes.

Layreen Cases products are not manufactured by or affiliated with Apple Inc. References to iPhone models and MagSafe are for compatibility purposes only. All product and company names are trademarks of their respective owners.

We are a small independent business. While we take great care in every order, we are not responsible for delays or issues caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or events outside our reasonable control.

We do not guarantee that the information on this website is always accurate, complete, or up to date. We do not warrant that the website will remain continuously available or free from errors.
